Quote2 is an online platform that connects homeowners with independent tradespeople. We do not provide any construction, repair, or trade services ourselves.

Quote2 acts solely as an intermediary between users.

• Any agreement for work is made directly between the homeowner and the tradesperson
• Quote2 is not a party to any contract between users
• We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of any services provided

The decision to hire a tradesperson is entirely the homeowner's responsibility. Quote2 is a platform that connects homeowners with tradespeople and is not responsible or liable for the quality, safety, or outcome of any work carried out.

• No qualification guarantee:Quote2 does not verify, confirm, or guarantee that any tradesperson holds the qualifications, licences, certifications, or accreditations relevant to their stated trade. It is the homeowner's responsibility to check these directly with the tradesperson.
• No quality guarantee: Quote2 does not guarantee the quality, standard, or outcome of any work carried out by a tradesperson found through our platform.
• No insurance guarantee: While tradespeople are required to hold public liability insurance, Quote2 does not independently verify that valid insurance is in place at the time of any job.
• Tradespeople are independent: All tradespeople on Quote2 operate as independent contractors. They are not employees, agents, or representatives of Quote2. Any contract for work is made solely between the homeowner and the tradesperson.
• Quote2 does not employ tradespeople: Quote2 is a marketplace platform only. No tradesperson listed on this platform is employed, engaged, or contracted by Quote2 in any capacity. Quote2 has no employer responsibilities towards any tradesperson using the platform.
• No verification of legal work status: Quote2 does not verify, check, or confirm the legal right to work in the United Kingdom of any tradesperson registered on the platform. It is the sole responsibility of the homeowner or any person engaging a tradesperson to satisfy themselves that all applicable legal requirements are met before work commences.
• Users are responsible for their own compliance: All users of Quote2 — whether homeowners or tradespeople — are solely responsible for ensuring their own compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and statutory obligations. This includes but is not limited to employment law, tax obligations, health and safety regulations, and any trade-specific licensing requirements. Quote2 accepts no liability for any failure by a user to comply with their legal obligations.
• Quote2 is not liable for work: Quote2 accepts no liability for any loss, damage, injury, or dispute arising from work carried out by a tradesperson introduced through our platform.

"Verified" status on Quote2 indicates only that a tradesperson has completed our basic onboarding assessment. It does not constitute a guarantee of qualifications, competence, or suitability for any particular job.

Tradespeople using Quote2 are required to hold appropriate insurance, including public liability insurance. We may request proof of insurance but do not guarantee verification of all users.

All payments are arranged directly between homeowners and tradespeople. Quote2 does not handle payments and is not responsible for payment disputes.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Quote2 shall not be liable for:

• Any work carried out by tradespeople
• Any loss, damage, or disputes between users
• Any indirect or consequential losses

We reserve the right to suspend or remove accounts that:

• Provide false or misleading information
• Violate these Terms
• Engage in unlawful or harmful behaviour

All content on this website (excluding user-submitted content) is owned by or licensed to Quote2 and may not be copied or used without permission.

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform means you accept any changes.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
